FS2000 panel - Version 2 USAF F-16 Falcon Fighter. Based on photos
of the F-16 cockpit. Designed for 1024x768.
Features include both Green and Red HUD gauges, working MFDs, ARC and ROSE HSIs,
parking brake and STALL warning lights, panel switches, 'pink' night lighting,
correct HUD compass calibration, and corrected gear indicator lights.
This version adds a left MFD view for system status, a NEW gear warning horn,
and new gear lights that have been fixed. Incorporates the MS FS2000 GPS.
INSTALLATION:
Follow these steps to install:
This panel uses gauges from other panels I have designed. Respond
YES to overwrite existing files when prompted.
- Unzip F16PNLV2 into a temporary folder
- Copy panel.cfg and *.bmp to the \panel folder of the
aircraft that you want to use the panel with.
- unzip the GAUGES.ZIP file into the ...\flight sim\gauges folder.
PANEL INSTRUCTIONS:
2: Toggles the System Status on the Left MFD.
3: Toggles the HSI mode.
4: Toggles the GPS on/off.
5: Toggles the GREEN HUD gauges.
6: Toggles the RED HUD gauges.
SWITCH INSTRUCTIONS:
There are 5 switches on the panel located on the
center of the Panel above the radios.
STROB: Click here to toggle the strobe lights on and off.
NAV: Click here to toggle the navigation lights on and off.
PITOT: Click here to toggle the Pitot Heat on and off.
HUDG: Click here to toggle the Green HUD gauges on and off.
HUDR: Click here to toggle the Green HUD gauges on and off.
Additionally, there are three switches located above the Right MFD.
The first switch toggles the System Status on the Left MFD,
the second switch toggles the MS GPS, the second toggles the ARC HSI on/off.
_NOTE_: The problem with the Landing Gear Indicators working properly has been fixed.
The landing gear indicator lights now function properly. (Thanks Dai!)
GEAR WARNING HORN:
The gear warning horn will sound when the throttle is at idle and gear in transit/down. Nudging the throttle off idle should cancel the warning as will hitting the cancel
switch. The horn can be tested by clicking on TEST on the switch which is located to
the right of the radios.
