Doppelraab IV for FS98
A two seat glider for beginners training in the early 50`s
(I have spent some hours flying Doppelraab in 1958)
First flight: 1953
Built: 220 units by Wolf Hirth
------------------------------

This airplane requires Microsoft Flight Simulator 98
(tested with US version only). Already converted.

Engines: none
T/O Weight: 350 kg max., 185 kg empty
Length: 6.9m
Wing span: 12.76 m
Top cruise speed: 190 km/h
Stall speed: 50 km/h
Glide ratio: 20:1
Minimum sinkrate: 0.85 m/s
Crew: 2 , student pilot + flight instructor

The panel is fitted out with metric instruments (speed and sinkrate).

Operation:

Take-off with a little trick, under the menue "exact location"
type in your desired hight and speed and then you will be beamed up to what
you like.
Easier is to use the provided situation which gives a correct speed
and some hight to continue.

Installation to FS98

Create under your \FS98\AIRCRAFT directory a new subfolder DRAAB
then create 4 new subfolders under DRAAB named:

MODEL , PANEL , SOUND and TEXTURE.

The following files enclosed in the DRAAB.ZIP must
go exactly to:

\DRAAB - copy draab.air , aircraft.cfg
\MODEL - copy draab.mdl , model.cfg
\PANEL - copy the contents of panel.zip
\SOUND - copy sound.cfg
\TEXTURE - draab.0af to draab.4af

Then copy the contents of gauges.zip to the FS98 subfolder \GAUGES
(If you already have some of these *.gau-files, then overwrite it.)

Doppelraab Chelan.stn goes to \PILOTS if you like

Legal stuff:

This is FREEWARE, so honestly don't make any money with this.
No commercial distribution on any sampler CD-ROM or else
without the written expression of the author.
I do not accept any liabilty if some misfunction happens to your system.
Comments are welcome.
You are free to upload into other services.
