All DC-10 I have tried in my computer for fs2002 never take off as they should. You need a runway a lot longer than required.
This air file works!!!
INSTALLATION
1.-First of all you must have a version of an American Airlines DC-1040ER for 2002.
(praadc10.zip) will do. It is a beautiful one. The model features all movable control surfaces and landing gear.

2.-Download and unzip that file anywhere you want.
3.-Backup the Aircraft.cfg file that appears in that file.
3.-Copy and paste the air file and the aircraft.cfg files included in this zip,
and let overwrite.

I include the default fs2000 panel for 3 heavy jets, but upgraded for fs2002,
and modified a little.
To install it:
1.-Unzip the gauges file, and copy and paste into your main fs2002
Gauges archive. IMPORTANT!!! DO NOT LET OVERWRITE GAUGES THAT YOU ALREDY HAVE IF THEY ARE NEWER!!!
2.-Replace the Panel archive of the aircraft for the one included.
