FS2004 Cricket-E Ultralight

INSTALLATION: Unzip crickete.zip into a temporary folder. From there copy the folder Cricket-E-2 into the Aircraft folder of FS2004. Open the gauges folder and copy the contents into the Gauges folder of FS2004. Close everything and fire up FS2004. This airplane will show as the Cricket E-2 under InsuredDisaster in the aircraft selection list.

THE MODEL: Although this is not an actual ultralight to my knowledge, it looks like many of the garage built ultralights out there. The engine is a MZ 201, and is fairly well detailed, though I have no idea of the accuracy except that the max RPM is 4,500 and the tachometer reflects that.

PANEL: The panel is custom built for this aircraft. The icon buttons to the lower left on the panel are used to open up the various sub panels.

Shift+2 will bring up the radio
Shift+3 Will bring up the GPS
Shift+4 will bring up the engine start panel
Shift+5 wil bring up the Compass
Shift+6 will bring up the exterior lighting panel.

The instrumentation is fairly simple, and consists of a tachometer, airspeed indicator, VSI, fuel gauge, (all custom built for this aircraft) and default compass and altimeter. The plane is equipped with a handheld radio (the MS default handheld), the MS Garmin 295, and exterior lights.

CHECKLISTS AND REFERENCE: I redid the Cessna 172 checklist and reference section. However, I am lousy at html and all that tough stuff, so its a tad messed up.

SOUND: The 172 sound. Sorry, don't know much about sound and what not, so I know its pretty bad.

LEGAL: This project is released as freeware. You may modify it, repaint it, etc., upload to another website as long as it is not for profit. I only ask that you write me an email letting me know, and give me credit.
