File archive name:- ap_SOCK.ZIP
This package provides an animated windsock, illuminated at night, for use with Airport 2.0+.

This is a suitable alternative to the default socks provided within AIRPORT that have occasional problems with the wind!!

Installation of this package:

Unzip the content of ap_SOCK.zip to a temporary folder then place the contents thus:

1) - In your AIRPORT/API folder create a new folder called WINDSOCK
2) - From your temporary folder move these files to:-
a) - your AIRPORT/API/WINDSOCK folder: ap_SOCK.api, ap_SOCK.gif, ap_SOCK.jpg
ap_SOCK.txt, file_id.diz
b) - your AIRPORT/RESOURCE folder: ap_SOCK.BMP
c) - your FS2000/texture folder: sock.bmp, sock_lm.bmp and, if required, Vod00.PAT
(provided by Rafael Garcia Sanchez in the VOD package - thank you!).

This object is not compatible with FS98 and earlier.

How to use the macro:

Call the macro with Airport using the User API option from the 'Create 3D-Object' function.

The object is scaleable - using scale 1.0 gives a sock aproximate height of 20ft/6m.
