Royal Netherlands Air Force Lockheed C-130 Hercules for FS2004
=============================================================

Repaint by Kim Dahl
koda@vip.cybercity.dk
February 2004

This is a repaint of Mike Stone's fine Hercules model to represent one of the two Hercules planes of the Royal Netherlands Air Force. The G-275 "Joop Mulder" is assigned to the 334th Squadron, operating from Eindhoven Airbase (EHEH).Those of you who know the real plane may argue that the FS model is too short compared to "the real bird", but there is nothing I can do about that, sorry!

In his READTHISFIRST.txt Mike recommends the custom panel by Ken Mitchel, available on his site, but I personally prefer to use Clive Ryan's Hercules panel for FS2002, since this one has views all the way round. This compensates quite nicely for the absence of a virtual cockpit in Mike's model. But it's totally up to you to find your own favorite!

The G-275 textures repaint is released as freeware and may not be changed in any way without my permission. Thanks to Mike Stone for making his fine model and supplying us with the base textures for repainting.

INSTALLATION
=============================================================

First of all, you have to download the original plane from Mike Stone's Hanger at www.pmstone.com.

Then just put the folder texture.RNLAF into the folder of your Hercules model and add the following lines to the aircraft.cfg, replacing the X in [fltsim.X] with the next vacant number in your collection:

[fltsim.X]
title=Lockheed C-130 RNLAF
sim=c130
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=RNLAF
kb_checklists=
kb_reference=
atc_id=G-275
atc_airline=RNLAF
atc_flight_number=1123
atc_parking_types=GATE,RAMP
ui_manufacturer=Lockheed
ui_type="C-130"
ui_variation="Royal Netherlands Air Force G-275"
visual_damage=1
description="Lockheed C-130H-30 Hercules No. G-275 "Joop Mulder" of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (Koninklijke Luchtmacht). It bears the markings of the 334th Squadron, based at Eindhoven Airbase (EHEH). Repaint of Mike Stone's model by Kim Dahl. February 2004."
atc_heavy=0

That should be just about it. Start your FS2004 and find the G-275 in the Lockheed C-130 section.

Have a nice flight!

Best regards
