Boeing B727-200 Sneaky Snake

Wath do you get when a famous painter takes a Boeing 727?: The Sneaky Snake.

There aro two reasons for the name: First, back for the 75's, Braniff choosed Alexander Calder for paint a Boeing 727 in celebration of the bi-centennial. Shortly before his dead he changed the red ribbon in the numer 1 engine for a snake. And second, this plane had a trim problem that makes it change heading and altitude frecuently. So, in flight simulator it must be flown without autopilot.

For curious, Alexander Calder painted a DC-8 before this. You can find this in SurClaro or in oasis.fortunecity.com/clubmed/286/dc8.html.

And, since his construction, the N408BN was flow by the next companies:
N7278F Frontier Airlines
N408BN Braniff
N408BN International Air Leases
N408BN Pride Air (leased by IAL)
N408BN Arrow Air (leased by IAL)
N408BN World Airways (leased by IAL)
N408BN Air Atlanta (leased by IAL)
N408BN Cayman Airways (leased by IAL)
TC-AJY Torros Aiways (leased by IAL)
N408BN International Air Leases
YV-466C Zuliana de AviaciĆ³n (leased by IAL)
N408BN International Air Leases
In 1995 IAL sold the N408BN to Columbia Pictures, who blow up the plane for the movie "Bad Boys". If you pay attention, you can see that the white plane in the hangar still carries the "N408BN" registration before explode.

I want to apologize by tree bugs:
1) The left wing's spoilers are bad secuenced. They must be 7654 321, but they are 4776 231. The sevent spoiler is duplicated. Can you fix this, Kevin?
2) The tail shows tree black cuts by night. Same for you, Kevin.
3) The bottom of the horizontal stabilizator and wings cant be seen in any of the pictures that I saw. I know that they were painted, maybe in white and red stripes, but I let in natural metal. Can anybody send me a picture of the underwings?

The rest of the model of Kevin is excelent, and I recommend this to any repainter.

A last remark: Why don't become a repainter? There are a lot of planes with special markings. I'm tired of the usual F-16 low-vis scheme, or the usual 757 in Delta markings. Why don't a Tornado Tiger Meet or a serie of Easy Jet's 737s? The plane modelers like Kevin are very important, but they can't make all the painting schemes by himselfs. So why don't help him and his friends?
