I was sad when I see a pilot's strike in a TV news, because the airline was on trouble and they prefired to put it on broke before make a deal. This news showed many Viasa pilots and personal playing with a venezuelan flag and a six feed span DC-10 over this, swinging the plane side to side of the flag. They where playing instead of being worried by their future. So Iberia bought Viasa, and the Boeings 727 where painted like this.
This is my third repaint. I plan to make some more Boeings 727 before change of model.
A last remark: Why don't become a repainter? There are a lot of planes with special markings. I'm tired of the usual F-16 low-vis scheme, or the usual Delta 757 markings. Why don't a Tornado Tiger Meet or a serie of Easy Jet's 737s? The plane modelers like Kevin are very important, but they can't make all the painting schemes by himselfs. So why don't help him and his friends?

Me sentí triste cuando ví una huelga de pilotos en el noticiero, porque la aerolínea tenía problemas y ello prefirieron que quebrara antes de hacer un trato. El noticiero mostraba un montón de pilotos y personal de Viasa jugando con una enorme bandera venezolana y deslizando sobre ella de un lado a otro un DC-10 inflable de dos metros de ancho. Ellos jugaban pensando que papá estado arreglaría todos sus problemas. Así que Iberia compró Viasa, y los Boeings 727 fueron pintados así. Un mensaje a mis compañeros venezolanos: No esperen a que papá estado, o los militares, o EEUU, nos resuelvan los problemas.
Esta es mi tercera "repintada". Quiero hace algunos más Boeings 727 antes de cambiar de modelo.
Una última nota: ¿Por qué no repintar? Hay un montón de aviones con marcas especiales. Estoy cansado de ver el usual F-16 con pintura de baja visibilidad, y el usual Delta 757. ¿Porqué no un Tornado Tiger Meet o alguno de los 737 de Easy Jet?. Los diseñadores de modelos como Kevin son importantes, pero ellos no puede hacer todos los esquemas de pintura solos. Así que, ¿porque no ayudarlo a él y sus amigos?
