FS2002 ATR 42-300 Lai (IAACA)
Model by Alberto La Greca
Repaint by Alejandro Hurtado

First at all, I must apologize, because in a previous repaint I said that Welcome Air is a holland airline, and I received this comment from a flightsimer:
"for info: Welcome Air is an Austrian Airline based at Innsbruck (LOWI)"
Thanks for the correction, sorry for my mistake.
Second, I received a email that I want to share with you. This is:

"Hello!

During my studying I live next to Innsbruck airport where Welcome Air is located.
I have downloaded your Dornier 328 OE-GBB. In the readme-file you asked:
>By the way: what means the nosepaint of the OE-GBB?<

Well, in Austria, planes that are owned by a airline, get the letter 'L' behind the 'OE'. The OE-GBB is owned by Tyrolean Jetservice, a division of Tyrolean Airways. It's for private air-travel and (originally) medical flights. I own a card that allows you to be flown back home from a foreign country with Tyrolean Jetservice if you get ill in holidays for example.
And the red nosepaint on OE-GBB is the logo of Jetservice. But what I do not know is, why a plane from Jetservice flies for Welcome Air. I guess, because they all are located at Innsbruck Airport, they just talked about it and Welcome Air could have leased OE-GBB.
Is that what you wanted to know?

I then have a question to you:
Why can your Welcome Air-planes not be displayed correctly in FS9?
The propellers are missing for example.

Regards

Steve"

Well, the answer is simple: I have a 1.6 mhz computer with 256Mb RAM. Each time I try to run FS2004, the computer freezes. So I must have to stay with FS2002, and if a model was made for FS2002, I have no way to know if it works well in FS2004. Sorry. But, from now, I´m going to use only fully FS2004 planes for repaint.

Some years ago I traveled from Caracas to Acarigua and back using a airline called Lai. I searched in the web for information about, but there is very little, even its web page is incomplete. As long as I know, it has at least 2 ATR-42, maybe 3, and 1 ATR-72. When I traveled, the YV-1024C was painted in white, and the others two where white and green. So I include the two color schemes. Later, YV-1024C was painted white and green too. Inside "Real" are a picture and a scan of the ticket from this flight.
In Flight Simulator there are some ATR in Lai colors: three Ai planes by Raul Vidal ("WWW.RVIDAL.COM"), an ATR-72 called "atr 72 lai" from an unknow, and a good ATR-72 Aircraft by Francisco Sánchez-Castañer, painted by Amer Fauzi Yordi.

Know bug: In the YV-950C, there is a problem with the white and green stripes. They must be continuos over the main weels carenate, but I had to let this piece all green.

Warranty:
I love the warranty wrote by Andrew W. Hall:
"None. Zip. Nada. Use at your own risk. I don’t think
this will harm your computer in any way, but if it does, I
don’t even want to hear about it."

A last remark: Why don't become a repainter? There are a lot of planes with special markings. I'm tired of the usual F-16 low-vis scheme, or the usual 757 in Delta markings. Why don't a "Bat's outa Hell's" B-25 or a serie of Qantas 737s? The plane modelers like Alberto La Greca are very important, but they can't make all the painting schemes by himselfs. So why don't help they?

Installation:

Just unzip atr4ah17.zip in your "Aircraft" folder of FS2002, install your desired panel and that's all. If you don't know how to install a panel, just let the default Beech King Air 350.
