This model is here presented with colors of Italian Air force (AMI)used during 90's years. The badges are that of an example belonging to 4° Stormo 20° Gruppo at Grosseto AMI's Air base during 1998.

The airplane requires FS2000.
This Fs model is a partial rework of my former F104G model recently published on the web.It has been prepared with FSDS of Abacus and features 3D engine inlet and exhaust opening, 3D cockpit with both pilots , 3D wheel wells, 3d airbrakes. All control surfaces and landing gear are fully animated. The textures are all 24 bit .bmp files.
A new flight model has been expressely prepared by Robert Young to whom I wish express my thanks for the excellent work.
My former F104 G and S model have had a very good success, but some people experienced troubles flying this aeroplane with Fs2000. I didn't experienced such troubles so I was't able to reproduce them to make some fix.I hope that the new Air file by Robert Young would overcome the troubles.

Installation:
Is necessary to have Fs98 converter already installed.
Need not to be converted. To install, unzip the ZIP file into the \AIRCRAFT subfolder of FS2000. Be
sure to check the "Use Folder Names" box in WinZip.

The plane.
Aeritalia/Lockheed TF-104G.
TF-104G is the tandem two-seater version of the F-104G and it was intended for pilot training. A total of 200 examples have been produced.
Italian Air force received a total of 30 examples. 12 produced by Lockheed (model CL-583D-10-20, MM 54226-54237), 12 produced in Italy by Aeritalia (Fiat Aviazione)(NC 5201-5212, MM 54250-54261) and 6 coming from Luftwaffe inventory (MM 54553-54558 with c/n 5738,5739,5743,5902,5946 and 5949).
Among the aircraft available at the end of 90's AMI chose 15 examples with less flying hours to update them in the new TF-104 M (modified) version.
