Description:

Built under specifics of NATO in 1962, the Aeritalia G-222 is a tactical transport aircraft, short Takeoff or landing (STOL), intended to replace, in the Italian Air Force, the Fairchild C-119. First flight in 18 july 1970. Anyway, G-222 structure was modified to carry the more powerful General Electric T64-GE-P4D engine. The first flight of last version prototype was in 23 December 1975. This Flight Simulator model is built with Aircraft Designer 2002 and features a 616 Kb model file, transparent 32-bit propellers, DXT3 texturing and 16036 polygons in 120 assemblies exactly. Includes Panel, sound and automatic Parachuter effect when you open the door over 8000 ft an 150 Kts. No need to press that "I" Key, they jump out just if you open the door

A.Software Requirements

To use this plane you NEED :

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002
Winzip

Installation:

1) Decompress in FS2002\aircraft. Now, in aircraft selection menu, selecet "Aeritalia", amd then "G-222". The variant is "46-94" ATC data and tail numbers are already set.
2) Copy the gauges in the "g222\gauges" directory to "fs2002\gauges". Copy the two files in the "g222\effects" directory into "fs2002\effects".
3) install the two Editvoicepack files in "fs2002\Editvoicepacks". If you don't know how to do, in Editvoicepack choose "file", then "Import". Not open as this will eraze all your modifications...Don't have Editvoicepack? Search it on the Web...
4) Fly it!

B.Known bugs
This plane was tested with FS2002 and amn Athlon XP-1800+, with Windows XP and GeForce4 MX420 (overclocked at 290/373). If you have not a similar power system, it should burn out your video board.
