GENERAL:
This model was designed using GMAX, textures with DXTBmp. This model of the Dewoitine 520 consists of more than 32.000 polygons and 21.000 vertices !!

EQUIPEMENT
It makes use of all the new technologies offered by the new flight simulator program FS2002.
This model requires a fairly powerful PC. I therefore recommend a configuration like the one I used to design it, beign a Athlon 1400 with a GeForce2 GTS with 64 Mb graphics card.
You can find an other model called "Dewoitine520light" if the Frame rate is not good.

TEXTURES
There are 5 liveries available from my web site, representing French warbirds during period between 1939 and 1945. They are all included in this package.
2 aircrafts during "la bataille de France" in 1940 :
N°73 « Loup Garou », 2ème escadrille du GC I/3
N°248 du GC II/7
1 aicraft in the Vichy livery:
N°248 du GC II/7, same aircraft
2 aircrafts during the battle for the liberation in 1944 (French colors and invasion stripes on German camouflage):
Corps Franc Pommiès
Groupe Doret.

Sound:
Sorry, but no sound are known about the Hispano-Suiza 12Y-45 engine ! So I use the FS2002 aliased files f4u1a_corsair

INSTALLATION:
Automatique installation with 'Clickteam'
or if the file is an ZIP file :
1) Move gauges to your FS2002 Gauges folder.
2) Move Dewoitine520 folder to your FS2002 Aircraft folder.
3) OR you can just unzip (Dewoitine520std.zip) right into your FS2002 Folder.

Done... when selecting 'Aircraft' from the FS2002 menu bar you should select 'Dewoitine' and you will see D 520 model. It has 5 liveries to choose from.
