Garmin GPS500 Ver. 1.0
FS2002 GPS replacement.
FS2002 ONLY

Replacement for the standard FS2002 GPS.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Copy gps500x.gau to d:\FS2002\Gauges\

2. Modify panel.cfg to use gps500

Replace the current gps window declaration in panel.cfg with the following, using the window number of the current gps. This will place the Garmin GPS at approximately the lower center of the screen. The gps icon will open and close it just like the standard gps.

OPERATION

Operation is the same as the standard GPS, the only difference is the
location and labeling of the buttons.

RNG up/dn ARROW PAD

The RNG up/dn is used for both up/dn and left/rt.

The button layout is shown in GarminGps500buttons.gif

NOTES :

This is the first version of this gauge and I will release
an update if any updates are required. Please send me an email
if anything doesn't work as expected or if there are any questions.
I am always open for suggestions if you have any ideas on
improvements that can be made.
