INSTALLATION
------------
Unzip "AEG4N2k2.zip" into a temporary folder and move the folder "AEG_G4N" into the main FS2002 aircraft directory.

THE VIRTUAL AEG G.IV
--------------------
Built with Abacus Aircraft Factory 99 and animated with Abacus Aircraft Animator (props, ailerons, elevator and rudders).

Construction is based on detailed information from various Internet sources:
Skytamer Images, California
Canadian Aviation Museum
Blauer Max Flugzeug Museum
Sierra Scale Models

This AEG G.IV version is characterized by its open engine nacelles, where the covers have been removed, which seems to have been standard practise for this aircraft, in those days and blue/dark blue and black lozenge colour scheme.

Like previous issues, it features hollowed out pilot´s cockpit, front and rear gunner wells and rear fuselage, allowing defence of the lower rear blind spot, and differs from preceding versions in its biplane tail and cut-away nose to fit a 20mm cannon.

Transparent grey panels portruding on either side in front of pilot´s cockpit are wire mesh protectors against debris thrown up by props.

FLIGHT DYNAMICS
---------------
FS2002 emmulates the throttle-gated high compression engines on this aircraft. The full 267 Hp thrust will not be available before the rated altitude of 4,265 ft has been reached, even though you apply full power. For more details on the high compression engines, please read the historical notes.

If you want to fly without the bomb weight, you can empty the left main and right main tanks, as these contain the bomb weight.
Open the fuel menu to drop these bombs - one by one = 5 USG each for small bombs, and 19 USG each for large bombs.

The flight dynamics for this aircraft give handling characteristics very much alike to the real AEG G.IV, which had a reputation for being easy to fly and extremely rugged. Similarly, flight behaviour differs noticeably from its slower and more sluggish contemporaries, the Gotha and Zeppelin bombers.
