----------------------------------------------------------

PACKAGE CONTENTS/INSTALLATION
-----------------------------
After you unzip the distribution you should see the following folders/files.

This read me on the top level.
An "Aircraft" folder, inside of which are the actual aircraft.
A "Gauges" folder.
A "Modules" folder.
An "Effects" folder.
A "Sounds" folder.

To install, move the contents of the "Gauges" folder to your FS2002-->Gauges folder.
(Move the AIRBUS folder inside the gauges folder in it's entirety, AS IS, to the gauges folder.
This is an XML gauge which has not been packaged into a .CAB, but works perfectly fine nonetheless.)
Move the contents of the "Modules" folder to your FS2002-->Modules folder.
Move the contents of the "Sounds" folder to your FS2002-->Sounds folder.
Move the contents of the "Effects" folder to your FS2002-->Effects folder.
Move the contents of the "Aircraft" folder to your FS2002-->Aircraft folder.

The "Documentation" inside the "Panel" folder includes Eric's original documentation for his panel, and some
screenshots I have made which show the location of the panel's hotspots
and what their functions are. This original documentation from Eric's panel is included, as it explains
the functions of some of the custom gauges which were used from Eric's panel.

If you wish to use the ACS-GPS and FSNav version of the panel which has these
preinstalled, backup the "Panel.cfg" file and simply rename the "Panel_ACS-FSNAV.cfg" file to "Panel.cfg"
and you are ready to use the "expert" panel.

There are two Iberia liveries included. "Ciudad de Celta" and "Sierra de Cazorla". They are slightly different,
and I just couldn't decide which one looked better. So I've included both of them. :)
Everything is already pre-configured for use in FS2002 (unless you wish to use the ACS-GPS/FSNav panel), so once you
move all the files to their respective folders, the aircraft should show up in FS2002 under "Airbus" as the
manufacturer. All FS2002 aircraft.cfg values are set, and a smoke system is preinstalled. (Press the
"I" key while in flight.)

Please e-mail me, Jorge Salas, with any questions regarding this package. Please do not e-mail any of the
original authors, as they have simply given permission for me to assemble and distribute this compilation.

Enjoy!

P.S. I also HIGHLY recommend the Airbus A320 done by Precision Sim Designs. They are quite beautiful, and
come in a LOT of liveries. The Iberia version is fantastic.

PANEL V1.1 READ ME/NOTES
----------------------------------------------------------
The airbus panel included in this package is a rework of the fantastic Airbus panel by Miguel Angel Álvarez.

I, Jorge Salas, have only modified, tweaked, and reworked aspects of the panel. All
authorship, original credit and design is by Miguel Angel Álvarez. The 1.0 readme has
full details of credits and is included further down this document in it's entirety.

CHANGES FROM THE 1.0 ORIGINAL VERSION
-------------------------------------

-All bitmaps reworked to not be in 24-bit color, decreasing the size of the distribution
and giving better performance and visuals in the sim.

-Repositioning/Resizing of some gauges (particularly the ARC/ROSE gauge) in all the panel windows.

-Reposition of the Throttle/Radio window to allow the MFD/EFIS (System Display) pages to be seen, and so that
it is not covered by the EXPANDED panel view.

-Addition of an additional popup window for the MAIN panel which seamlessly overlays the MFD/EFIS (System Display)
which was only visible in the EXPANDED view before.

-Removal of some gauges which were causing errors at panel startup (for me, anyways!).

-Removal of gauges and sounds which were not used in the original panel from the distribution.
All used gauges, sounds, and modules are included in a new gauge package, and duplicate gauges
which are used on the Main and Expanded panel views are now individually included and renamed
so as to not conflict with the original panel release, and to alleviate the gauge_0001.gau
naming convention when duplicate gauge assignments are encountered by the sim.

-New overhead window, which although still not realistic, is very thin and provides good visibility.
original overhead bitmap is by Alain Capt, from his original MD-11 panel release, which I have reworked
for this panel.

-Custom lighting added to the panel, as well as enhanced view configuration in the panel config file.

-All panel windows and popups are accessed through invisible hot spots and are positioned precisely.

-Addition of a pop up window with a Chrono Clock/Timer. (Concorde gauge, included in distribution.)

-Addition of a dedicated audio gauge for full FS2002 functionality. (EXPANDED panel view only)

-Addition of and extra digital trim gauge, visible in the Main and Expanded panels underneath the EFIS.

-Addition of clocks in the Main and Expanded panel views.

-GPS gauge repositioned and resized to fit seamlessly into the MAIN panel.

-Eric Marcianos documentation for his gauges/panel is now included in the package. Although the documentation
is specific to Eric's panel, the sections regarding the operation of the MFD and the Radio/Throttle
panel/gauges which are used in THIS panel are essential information.

-Two versions of the panel are included. A standard version which includes all the updates, reworking,
and a second "expert" version which incorporates Alain Capts ACS-GPS system (only the gauge used is included,
the ACS-GPS package needs to be downloaded seperately if you do not have it), and also includes
FSNav function buttons. (FSNav is not included.)

If you prefer the look of the default 737 RMI over the one included in this panel,
you can easily swap these gauges by opening up the panel.cfg file you are using with notepad,
scroll down to [Window05] and change the following lines.

Change:
gauge13=airbus.MA320!DDRMI, 496,442,115,144
;gauge13=737-400!RMI, 496,460,115,136

To:
;gauge13=airbus.MA320!DDRMI, 496,442,115,144
gauge13=737-400!RMI, 496,460,115,136

All the standard disclaimers apply, and this update falls under the same permissions
that the original panel does, which are included in the original readme which follows.

Enjoy!
Jorge Salas

THANKS ERIC! for your time and your attention!

This Panel has been tested by Eric Marciano and He remarked the following:

- I am disapointed because the second central EFIS, the System DIsplay, has disappeared, and it contained useful information. For example, the elevator pitch trim is not visible any more.
- I don't like the upper panel very much, because it is not like in the rel A320, but it is OK
- Your ND is great, very similar to the real one, but I didn't understand what is the yellow line. I understood it indicates the heading that you will have soon if you keep on turning. Am I right?
- The auto-brake feature is missing. The TO check-list requires to have autobrakes armed on RTO position (Rejected Take-off), but there is no auto-brake gauge...

ORIGINAL MIKE STONE AIRBUS READ ME
----------------------------------------------------------

FS2002 Airbus A320-200

This is an all new model designed from scratch using GMAX.
The model has fully animated parts including functional suspension and folding landing gear struts.
I've included textures for 5 major liveries - Air France, British Airways, Lufthansa, Northwest and US Air with full night lighting.
I've also included a custom panel using default FS2002 gauges.

This version fixes several problems found in the original release.

Any comments and/or suggestions are more than welcome.

Good flying,
Mike Stone
