FS9 Scenery *** Toowoomba - Queensland, Australia ****

These files upgrade the default FS Toowoomba Airport and
surrounds. This scenery would not have been possible without the
help of Ron Smith who has not only supplied me with information
and photographs of the airport and buildings, but has with his
enthuisiasm, "fired me up" to get the scenery up to what I consider
better than most that I usually produce.

I have included an AFCAD2 file which is based on the Aerodrome Chart
from Airservices Australia.

INSTALLATION*******

Place the "Toowoomba" with it's "scenery" and "texture" subfolders under
your Addon Scenery folder.

The "Twmba-LC" folder contains a "scenery" folder in which you
will find the Landclass file. You can add thise to
wherever you put your landclass or if you prefer add "Twmba-LC" as a
seperate entry in your scenery library.

AFCAD File

Place the AF2_YTWB.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.
This file adds taxiways and parking and I have also used AFCAD2
to add concrete pads under some of the buildings.

LIBRARY OBJECTS

You will find a folder named 'Lib-Files' which contains
'TA-Fence-LIB.bgl' which should be placed in your
FS9/scenery/world/scenery folder. The .bmp files in the 'textures'
folder should be placed in your FS9/textures folder.

***** IF YOU DON'T DO THIS YOU MAY GET 'LIBRARY OBJECT NOT FOUND'
MESSAGES************

I have converted the macros for the fence panels, hedge sections and cones
and markers to library objects to reduce the size of the YTMB02.bgl
and to help with framerates.

OPTIONAL FENCE

You will also find a file, 'YTMB-Fence.bgl' This file adds a perimeter
fence to the airport. I decided to add it as a seperate .bgl and leave
it up to the user to either add it to the 'Toowoomba/scenery' folder
or leave it out. It doesn't seem to have much of an impact on framerate
but when I originally added the fence macros (before converting them
to lib objects) it doubled the size of the original YTMB02.bgl

Rway12 STUFF.

Place the .bgl files from the Rway12-stuff folder into your

Addon Scenery/Scenery folder

and the textures into your

Addon Scenery/Texture folder...

... or if you have installed Rwy12
and already added the ramp-lights and static helicopters you
will already have these and don't need to add anything.

Activate "Toowoomba" (and "Twmba-LC" if you have added it as a seperate
scenery) and you should be ready to use the scenery.

Toowoomba already appears under FS9's Go To Airport = Country-Australia,
State-Queensland, City- Toowoomba and there is no change here.

You will need Gerrish Gray's Trees and their textures installed.(See
the Trees Read-me if you don't have these.) You will also need the
Novagold textures installed.
