Starting as a VIP plane and ending as cargo flyer!
C/n 187009802 was delivered to the Romanian Government as a VIP liner in 1967. The official operator was TAROM the national carrier. After the quiet life flying government members through the eastern world YR-IMZ was also used for charter flights from 1989 on. The new operator was LAR (part of TAROM). After the opening of Romania the Il-18D was used by Romavia for passenger and cargo flights. Around 1994 it was finally converted into a cargo plane getting a side cargo door and "CARGO" titles. The new designation was Il-18GRM. At the end of the year 2000 the airplane was sold to Sri Lanka and registered as 4R-EKD. The new owner is unknown so far.

Installation:
Unzip the main file into the aircraft folder of FS98 or FS2000.

This aircraft has no panel or sounds!!!

If required you can download the panel on SurClaro separately or together with the file ra-75498.zip. Then copy the panel bitmaps and the panel.cfg file into the panel folder, and copy the sound files into the sound folder. Unzip the gauges into the main gauges folder of
FS98 or FS2000. If you like to have altitude talkdowns and "gear up and down" talks you will also need "FPDA Boeing Callout" and "GEARTLK 3" in your main sound directory. There is also a russian version available on www.flightsim.krsk.ru (Tu-154M cockpit by Dmitry Kolesnik).
