Wombat_Bend is a ficticious Scenery set in Lake Eildon in Victoria,
it is a Small Fishing Camp with facilities for a weekend getaway and Children Friendly.
Has a Small Lite strip but with a difficult approach or you can choose to cruise in with a
Seaplane and tie up at the Pier.
There is allso Night Lighting for late arrivals.
Wombat_Bend is for FS9 COF only due to its use of FS9 textures and custom textures and the Default FS9 terrain mesh.
Installation is the same as any scenery for FS9 COF.
Start Loctation suggested is: S037:11:04.4166 E146:00:16.3014 HDG 348 ALT 790.8 FT COld Start !
Depending on your AC and Scenery settings ( autogen etc. ) and your PC Components, will dictate your FPS within this scenery.
Min PC hardware tested was an AMD 1300 with 512 SDram and a 64 Meg TI Geforce card and an average FPS of 18 was
obtained with the FPS locked off at 25 FPS max.
Larger PC Hardware configs ( ie: P4 512 meg Ram or better and 128 TI 4200 AGP Video ) should be able to maintain an average
FPS of 23 with the Max setting locked off at 25 FPS.
I hope you enjoy the challenge of the short strip and the approach from either direction, Max Size AC used was the
Grand Caravan with a very slow approach under full flaps and full reverse pitch and brakes immediatly on touchdown.
