Note:

The "Venegono - Aeromacchi" scenery is totally fictional, but shows the current airfield layer took from the real maps and a supposed buildings distribution just as a Regia Aeronautica Airfield during WWII.

The airfield is located near Varese city to north of Italy on Lombardia region, the runway is 18/36 in asphalt.

This airfield is operated by Aeronautica Macchi, whose factory is near the airstrip, as to shows this virtual scenery.

I took the idea of adding the Macchi factory, from Bremen-Messerchmidt Werke scenery, created by Ralf-J. Triebel (Copyright 2000). Also, I have used some Bremen's macros for build the Macchi factory hangars, but with the plane's part pictures with italian markings. The factory buildings distribution is totally fictional, made with stock CFS buildings. Only is real the position of the factory area.

I have added some static Macchi Mc 202 "Folgore" and Mc 205 "Veltro" with Regia Aeronautica markings, parked on the factory area.

Also, I have added new modified textures for German Fuel Truck, American 6x6 Truck, American Weapons Carrier and American Ford Truck, all without markings, as italian wartime vehicles. (Do not add this textures on the main texture folder of CFS, copy them only in the texture sub-folder of Venegono scenery).

For install this scenery you must have installed the Cliff Burgess's CFS Italy v1.5 Scenery.

This scenery places Runway, AFD menu entry, buildings, ground vehicles and static italian planes to the airfield of Venegono.

The runway data, heading, cordinates and buildings are designed using stock CFS static objects and some API macros from CFS Buildings for Airport 2.10 designed by Ralf Triebel and other macros taken from VOD 27 by Rafael Garcia Sanchez.

Whatever you do, have fun with this. This kind of scenery would not be possible with the utilities-tools and support of Pascal Meziat, Tom Hiscox, Brian McWilliams, Trevor de Stigter, Martin "Wizard" Wright, Ralf Triebel and Manfred Moldenhauer. Thank you very much!

Installation:

Go to the CFS main scenery folder and make a folder named Venegono, under it make a sub-folder named scenery and other named texture.

Unzip all to a temporary folder and copy BGL files directly to a Venegono/scenery/ sub-folder, and the bmp, r8 and *af files to the Venegono/texture folder (the textures for static planes are included).

Do not drop the texture files to your main CFS texture folder, otherwise they will eventually overwrite some of your other CFS textures (mainly the American ground vehicles repainted as italian and the fuel tanks with italian warning label)!

After copying the structure of that folders has to look exactly like this:

CFS ----
scenery
----- Venegono
-------- scenery
-------- texture

Go to CFS and start in freeflight. Add the scenery to the scenery-library
(World / Scenery Library) - Add Scenery.

The BGL path to enter is exactly:

=:\=\scenery\Venegono\SCENERY\*.BGL

You may copy and paste the line above!

Name the scenery "Venegono" and don't forget to activate it by checking the box!

You can access the initial points by clicking GOTO Airport, the airfield "Venegono" is added to the CFS airfields list.
