Welcome to the 'Venus of the Sea’, RSDG Turbo Lake Renegade 270.

This package constitutes a complete Custom "airbrush" repaint of the, Renegade/Seawolf Design Group’s - RSDG Turbo Renegade 270 (Version 1.0, March 2003) Copyright (C), All rights Reserved.

The (VOTS) 'Venus of the Sea' scheme, is a highly detailed custom airbrush paint, rendered entirely in 32 BIT DXT3 format textures for better frame rates, high-quality graphical integrity and full custom-alpha channel detailing for the highly polished chrome and sparkling, buffed metallic paint.
For whatever it's worth, this scheme was exceptionally challenging and fun to do - and numerous new techniques were discovered, 'invented' and/or otherwise learned in the process of achieving the idea I had in mind at the outset.
The scheme is 100% unique as a purely original design concept and, in my opinion, she turned out quite well.
From start to finish, as she is here - the work consumed more hours of loving, if pain-staking effort than I care to admit.
It's hoped you'll enjoy having and flying her, as I'm sure I will myself. :)

Please Note that the Registration as shown in the images provided here, is my own personal VOTS.

This (Your) Aircraft’s Registration number is: N3216C

In order to use these (repaint) textures, you must already have the a'fore mentioned aircraft - *RSDG Turbo Renegade 270 (Version 1.0, March 2003)

You may find this file in the SurClaro File Library, under FS2002 Aircraft, by searching for the file name: rsdgrene.zip

To use / install these textures, follow the conventional method for aircraft repaints: Simply unzip this file (VOTS.zip) to your …\FS2002\aircraft\Lake Renegade folder-directory.
Extract the folder (with its contents) – “texture.svenus”, and place it in the above named directory (don’t leave it in the VOTS folder).

Then – copy and paste the following into your Lake Renegade’s aircraft.cfg file.

+++ BONUS NOTE +++

Perhaps as something of a bonus – if you’d like to come pick up your own plane here – at the ‘Themistocles Art Studio Limited’ – Themis Airfield (TB4), where this and other Turbo Lake Renegade 270’s are refurbished and painted, you can now do so! – FS2002 pilots only (as yet!).
The scenery Requires Lago’s FSSE (Scenery Enhancer) – and their FS Soundscape is highly recommended, although it is Not an absolute necessity. All other necessary files for the scenery are included in the package, and no other Addons are necessary – but PLEASE NOTE the following extract from the Scenery’s INSTALLATION Instructions Readme file: *

The ‘Themistocles Art Studio Limited’ bonus scenery works ONLY in FS2002, it requires Lago's FS Scenery Enhancer – (Lago's FS Soundscape highly recommended but not a necessity), and it requires the Nova Gold textures (novagt1.zip) to be present in the main "FS2002/Texture" folder.

Feel free to fly in for the surprise ‘pop-in’ visit any time! Come by boat, float or G/A wheeled aircraft – as our private Themis Airfield features both a fully functional Marina as well as 2,132 feet of dirt runway right on the beach.

A partial view of the Themis Marina can be seen in the included Screenshot, named: VOTS_departing_Themis_Marina-1.jpg

We hope you’ll make the trip in to visit us here at ‘TASL’, we’d love to see you!
We’ll have some Souvlaki, coffee and some Ouzo waiting! ;)

If interested in this – please look in the www.SurClaro File Library, under FS2002 Scenery, for the file named: ‘Kounos.zip’
( You can easily find this by using 'Greece' as your search query term ).
