You may notice that in some cases the Flight Sim coordinates do not exactly match
the real map coordinates. This is because in some cases I had to move the LZ a
few hundred meters to match the terrain in the Asia Mesh add-on for flight sim.
The mesh may be off a little bit or it could even be the maps that are wrong. Either
one will get you close enough where you can see the facility.
Should you have and use a coordinate converter be sure to use the WGS84 Datum for
Flight Sim and the Indian 1960 (Vietnam 16N) datum for the military 1:50,000 maps.
The area number is 49. You should use Geodetic Unprojected for the Long and latitude
and Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) for the Military maps. BT in the coordinates
above equals an easting prefix of 02 and a Northing prefix of 17 - LZ Riverboat South
BT621016 full coords to the meter are E 0262100 N 1701600. The S in BS indicates that
the northing prefix in that case is 16.
