United Parcel Service 747SR-46(SF) FOR FS2000/FS2002.
N680UP, SN20923/LN 234 Built 03/28/74 originally for Japan Airlines as JA8121. 680 was built as a 747 "Short Range" for the high-density Japenese market. The landing gear, wing spar, and structure were strengthned to withstand the ammount of cycles incured on short hops. JA5121 was aquired by Evergreen and converted to freighter and operated for UPS. UPS then kept the airplane when they decided operate the airline themselves. N680UP is used mainly for domestic routes where the bulk load requires a 747.
I decided to paint this airplane cause it is a unique airplane. I dont know of many(if any) SR's that have been painted and put on the net.
