TRAFFICLOOK.EXE Version 1.54 February 2004
===============================================

******* FOR FS2002 and FS2004 ONLY *******

This program is provided to demonstrate the data available through the
FSUIPC interface for FS's A.I. generated traffic. It can be run
directly on the PC running FS, or on a separate PC under WideFS.

Note that the "State", "From", "To" and "Rwy" displays will only show
data when TrafficLook is used with FS2004. The latter three need
FSUIPC 3.113 or later.

The User's own aircraft is listed first, always. Then the data for A.I.
aircraft appears, by default sorted into nearest traffic first. To sort
on any of columns just click on the column headings. You can resize the
width of any column and move the columns around by dragging in the headings.
Whatever you do is remembered in the TrafficLook.ini file so it is effect
next time you run it as well. Two completely different arrangements can be
made, one for Ground and one for Airborne traffic. The example INI file
supplied allows TrafficLook to be run twice -- put the second one into
"Ground" mode and you will get two windows side by side showing the more
interesting data. The INI is suited to a 1280x1024 resolution screen.

Choose whether to show airborne or ground traffic only in the File menu. You
can run two copies of TrafficLook side-by-side, one for each, and see the
craft move from one to the other upon landing or taking off.

With the order determined by Slot number the aircraft will stay fixed in place
in the list, till they depart and are erased by FS or land. (Only traffic in
the air is listed).

The list can be printed, but you will need to choose a Landscape orientation.

To list only tail numbers, not airlines and flights, you need to change the
parameter in FSUIPC's INI file. In the [General] section find

TCASid=Flight

and change this to "Tail". Tail numbers are shown by FS2002 in the views, when
the labelling option is selected. The full list of options here is:

Flight for airline+flight, or tail number, as available (default)
Tail for tail numbers only
Type for the "ATC type", generally only the Make
Title from the aircraft title (in the .CFG file), truncated to
17 characters
Type+ for the type as above, truncated if necessary, plus the last
3 characters of the tail number

NOTE on supplied TrafficLook.INI file
=====================================

As an example of a possible arrangement, suitable for FS2004 and a 1280 x 1024
secreen resolution or better, try the included TrafficLook.ini file. Put it
in the same folder as TrafficLook.exe. Then run TrafficLook TWICE, changing
one to show airborne and the other ground traffic. You will get two narrower
listings side by side with some of the more interesting inforamtion.
