Tampa International Airport
Tampa, Florida

Located near Tampa, Florida, USA, Tampa International Airport has been consistently
rated as one the most popular airports in North America. The airport is primarily
served by US domestic carriers as well as some international flights from Canada
and Germany. The airport has seen good growth over the last several decades and
has recently constucted new airside terminals.

This is very dense scenery. I have carefully worked to maximize detail without
too much of a frame rate reduction and usually get no worse than about 18 frames
per second at the highest density settings. I recommend those with slower machines
to conduct an approach and landing in a 'normal' density setting or lower and
switch to a higher density setting for taxi.

Also, if the trees affect frame rate, or if they are just plain annoying, you can
remove them by deleting ( or moving ) the tpatrees.bgl file.

As usual, default AI generated aircraft are not compatible with this scenery.
I also do not have miscellaneous airport equipment, such as baggage carts or
fuel trucks. I request other designers to add static scenery and AI aircraft
as I am completely burned out with the developement of this scenery... again!

To get to the airport, use the default scenery 'Goto Airport' function in the
'World' menu. Choose any default runway and it will position your aircraft on
any of the runways at Tampa.

To install this scenery, unzip this file in a temporary directory. Click and
drag the 'Tampa2002' folder into your Scenery directory in Flight Simulator. Start
FS2002 and go to the World... Scenery Library menu....
Press the 'Add Area' option...
Then use the file manager window that appears to search for the 'Tampa2002'
folder and double-click that folder. Type in any title in the 'Title' window and
check the box for 'Use this Scenery directly'. Set the priority to 1 (it should
be defaulted to 1) to avoid conflicts with other third-party scenery.

I highly recommend that after you activate the scenery, you exit and
restart FS2002 before going to the scenery area.

Again, to find the airport, use the 'Go to Airport'... option in the World menu. Search
for Tampa Intl. All runway choices will correctly place you on that runway.

Included are 3 screenshots to provide a comparison to see if you correctly
installed the scenery.
