HOW TO SKIN
If you want to make new "skins" for that bird, be my guest.
When those textures were made, I had "skinners" in mind as I started modifying CFS1 a/c (mostly add-ons) that way. Texture your heart's content bearing in mind that these textures are extended BMP files containing multi-resolution pictures and, sometimes, transparent and translucent effects.
To keep multi-resolution and transparencies effects, I recommend that you use BMP2000 but DO NOT USE the version offered for download at MW Graphics site as it will "opacify" your translucent texture under certain angles and at distance. Use the version obtained at simviation website instead.
If you wish to upload your skin to a WEB site, you will need my permission (see CREDITS & COPYRIGHTS.txt). It will be given quite easily on these criteria:
-quality, that's obvious why;
-exactitude, BF 108B1 V1 representing a Taifun B1 or B2 of the "basic" type, I will not give my permission for B1 "deluxe" type (such as D-IOIO), B1s, B2 with the modified rudder, C1, D1 or A. But do not despair as I intend to make model of them all.
-colors, unless you can prove that a Taifun was painted fluorescent green with pink spots, I will not give you my permission. More seriously, try to stick to believable colors.
Above all, have fun!
