description = La Fuerza Aérea Colombiana (FAC) empezó a adquirir este aparato en 1954, iniciandose asi la "era del jet" en Colombia. Estos Silver Estar T-33 se matricularon a partir del FAC-2000 y se asignaron desde un comienzo a la Base Aérea de Palanquero donde formaron parte del Escuadron de Caza.
En 1978 llegaron los últimos T-33 a la Fuerza Aérea con matriculas des el FAC-2023 hasta el 2044. A partir de 1981 estos aviones fueron trasladados a la Base Aérea de Barranquilla, en donde operaron hasta 1990
El modelo es de la marca Academy 1/48, las calcomanias son genericos de Tropidecal y estencil de AZTEC el interior del modelo tiene fotograbados de la marca AIRWAVES.
Se pinto con alumino de SNJ , las figuras modificadas para el diorama son de un juego de Hasegawa.
