CESSNA CENTURION T206 PANEL
for Microsoft® Flight Simulator 2002
March 2002

This package includes a photorealistic panel for a Cessna T206 Turbo Stationair for use with Microsoft® Flight Simulator 2002 (FS2002). It includes photorealistic interior views, and custom instrumentation. It has not been tested in FS2000, but it should work for it.

Several documents in pdf format in the Doc folder and the checklists are based on these original manuals of a T206G (1984).

It has been made specially for the Cessna 206 from Mikko Maliniemi which we thank for his original 206 photos from which we started the development of the panel. It can be used with any other 206, 207 and 208.

-----------------------------
Installation:
-----------------------------
Unzip the archive in a temporary file, then place all the files inclided in the "panel" folder in your favorite 206 panel folder. Put all the gauges in the main FS2002 gauges folder.

For viewing the documentation in pdf format inclided in the Doc folder you need the Acrobat® Reader by Adobe® available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/alternate.html.

For better use, replace the aircraft.cfg file of your 206 by the one here included.

-----------------------------
Faetures:
-----------------------------
This panel has a main panel, plus different subpanels, including a navigation panel with enlarged instruments, and an enlarged altimeter to fix the baro.
To change subpanel, only use the specific buttons on the panel.

All the gauges have been specially redesigned and programmed for it, including Cessna 400 Series avionics.

Many informations are given in the pdf files in the archive :
- 400 Nav-Com infos.pdf
- 400 ADF Infos.pdf
- 400 Transponder Infos.pdf
- 400B Nav-O-Matic Infos.pdf
- Cessna HSI Infos.pdf

Hereafter are some complementary informations :

-----------------------------
Radios
-----------------------------

All radios need to be switched on to function.

-----------------------------
400 Nav-Com
-----------------------------

The 400 Nav-Com has three memorized frequencies for each function, Nav and Com.
-The left Volume knob is used to switch On/Off the 400 Nav-Com but does not increase/decrease the volume as there is no volume selection possible in FS2000.
- If you want to hear the morse ident of the VOR/LOC station use the "ID-VOX-T SWITCH".
In "ID" only the morse ident is heard (there is no such thing as "voice transmission" for VOR/LOC in FS), in "VOX" the ident is off and "T" for testing.

-----------------------------
400 Series DME
-----------------------------

The RTA-477A DME offerts a simultaneous display of distance, ground speed and time-to-station information. It needs to be switched on to function. When the DME is OFF, the inscriptions NM, KTS and MIN are OFF, then if ON, they glue orange like leds. By default N1 (Nav 1) is preselected.

-----------------------------
400 Series ADF
-----------------------------

The 400 ADF has a standy frequency which yu can switch to make the active frequency with the center switch between the two frequencies.
