FOREWORD
========
I'm perfectly aware that you can find some B767 packages much more better than this one: I'm referring in particular to the beautiful P.I.C., but some of them are shareware or payware and more complicated for non real airline pilots, so I decided to have a go at a new B767 panel, starting from a photographic panel found in the net and aiming to create an aircraft as much as possible close to the real one, but keeping it simple, even if the panel looks quite crowded. From an official source I could get the real panel layout, operating manuals, check-lists and so on, upon which to base my task and I put into work my past professional experience to create this panel.
I would suggest to have a look to the .jpg which is included in this file.

NOTE 1:
----------
Some buttons and switches in all panels are just there for realism, but they don't work.

NOTE 2:
----------
One very interesting feature enclosed in this panel is an FMC gauge providing lots of useful flight informations and aural calls, like i.e. actual A/c weights in Kgs.,T/O and LDG Speeds, gear, flap positions calls and so on. It can be displayed by clicking over the little button 'FMC' placed in the lower part of the group on the left side of the Eicas. This window shows several types of A/c's at each click, starting from the A300 and sorted alphabetically by type; just remember TO CHOOSE THE B767-300 A/c: selecting this aircraft, the figures and calls seem to work well enough.
Upon request from simmers unable to find Tom Corson's .wav files, I have included the files related to this aircraft, even if the size of this .zip will result quite big.
IN THE APPROACH PHASE BE CAREFUL TO STAY BELOW THE MLW (Maximum Landing Weight) USING A REASONABLE FUEL QUANTITY, LET'S SAY ABOUT 30% IN EACH TANK; YOU CAN ALSO ....PLAY WITH THE ZERO FUEL SHOWN IN THE FMC...JUST TRY IT!

INSTALLATION
============
I recommend to download Project Opensky's beautiful package 'Open767cann.zip', or use any other B767 you may have in your aircraft folder. You can also use any heavy twin engine jet aircraft.
Attention: in order to have the flaps position indicator show properly, you should backup the original 'aircraft.cfg' and change the Flaps section as follows:

[flaps.0]
type = 1 // 1 - tail, 2 - lead
span-outboard = 0.8 // 0.0 .. 1.0
extending-time = 20 // seconds
flaps-position.0= 0.000, 0.000
flaps-position.1= 5.000002,0.000000
flaps-position.2= 10.000004,0.000000
flaps-position.3= 15.000006,0.000000
flaps-position.4= 20.000009,0.000000
flaps-position.5= 25.000011,0.000000
flaps-position.6= 30.000013,0.000000
damaging-speed = 200 // KIAS
blowout-speed = 250 // KIAS
lift_scalar = 0.7
drag_scalar = 0.9
pitch_scalar= 0.9
system_type = 1 //Hydraulic

Just copy and paste these new parameters in your aircraft.cfg, but remember to do this in FS2002 aircraft only.
If you are not familiar with this procedure don't panic: everything will work perfectly, even if you loose some precision in flaps position indications.

And now back to the installation:

Step 1- Backup the original 'panel.cfg' and extract the whole contents of the enclosed 'Panel.zip' in the Panel folder of the selected aircraft.

Step 2- Extract the whole contents of the enclosed 'Gauges.zip' in the main fs2k2 'Gauge' folder.

Step 3- Extract the whole contents of the enclosed 'SoundsFMC.zip' in the main fs2k2 'Sound' folder.

I think this should be the end of the installation procedure.

...Have happy flights!
