Lockheed-Martin SR-71a "BLACKBIRD" 'rapid rabbit'

By Richard Barker (happymulletuk@aol.com)

This is my first release, so go easy on me here. Comments, constructive and otherwise are welcome at happymulletuk@aol.com.

To get the full SR-71 experience, u need a panel and sounds, so I reccomend the panel by Francisco Moreno (sr71_panel.zip-on http://simviation.com/fsdpanels[53].htm), and get the buick sounds, also Freeware.

I would liked to have bundled these as a package, but I have no email addresses for the authors, and I guess most of you will already have them, with the PSS-SR71 zip that everyone must have, and I didn't want it to be a huge DL.

Anyway, hope you enjoy......

ps, in the readme.doc are some interesting facts about the SR-71, such as costs, and tepmeratures ect.

INSTALLATION

Unzip to a new folder on your desktop, go to the Aircraft.cfg file and copy the name there to the main folder name. then move the folder and it's contents to the FS2000 aircraft directory.

My grateful thanks to:

Felix/FFDS - for being a great help when I got stuck, thanks man!
Bonzonie - Again, more than helpful, and for showing me how to do those afterburners, nice one!

And, all the other guys at the Simviation design forum who helped me out, without you guys I would have given up ages ago. Thankyou.
