ABOUT THE SCENERY:

I chose Spokane International because it was one of the airports I stopped at when I was travelling throught the northwestern US years ago. I attempted to re-create every gate at the terminal. There are nine airlines represented in the scenery as well as 4 air cargo planes. Below, you will find a list of the non-default aircraft and their liveries used. The scenery was created totally with FSDS2. This scenery requires textures from ASDv2.1, Nova and Nova Gold. Traffic Tools v2 and AFCAD v2.11 is a must. All of these can be downloaded from SurClaro. Although the airliners have been assigned parking spaces through AFCAD, you may have to add more flight plans to fill all of the parking spaces. As the scenery stands now, gates 11-15 may not be used by AI aircraft. Happy flying!

INSTALLATION:

Hopefully I've made this step by step installation guide user friendly. If there is any part you don't understand, fell free to email me and I will try to assist you the best I can.

Again, I hope you have unzipped the kgeg_v1 zip file to a temporary folder and are reading this readme file now.

Step 1. Set your unzip utility to use/create folders, then unzip the kgeg_scen.zip file to the drive where your FS2004 is located.
Results of step 1: A folder named fs2k4_scenery\kpdx\scenery should be created on your drive. In the scenery sub-folder should be the *.bgl files. Also, the start-up files WA - Spokane International.FLT and WA - Spokane International.WX Should be in the My Documents\Flight Simulator Files folder and the AF2_KGEG.bgl file should be in the Addon Scenery\scenery folder of FS2004 (or however you named the folder where your flight simulator is located.)
Step 2. Open the KGEGFLTPLN.txt file and copy the contents to the flightplansxxxxxx file in Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools v2 (If you don't have traffic tools, you can download it from SurClaro) Download all necessary aircraft and install them into FS. Now add them to the Aircraftxxxxxx file in traffic tools as per the Readme file of TTools. Don't forget to change the AC#'s in the flightplans file for kgeg to follow sequence with the AC#'s in YOUR traffic tools Aircraft file.
Step 3. Download and install Lee Swordy's AFCAD v2.11. Open AFCAD and enter the Tools menu and select the Aircraft Editor. There, for each aircraft used in the scenery, designate the livery. If the livery is not available, designate the type of parking. For example Cargo, or C or Mil_cargo or MR etc. This will help assign the aircraft to the proper parking space.
Step 4. Start FS and select settings, then Scenery Library. Now select Add Area and install the scenery in the usual manner. Now shut down FS.
Step 5. Re-start FS and this time select Select a Flight. At the top select My Saved Flights. At the bottom, find WA - Spokane International and highlight it and click OK.
Step 6. Have a happy and safe flight.

I hope I didn't leave anything out. You can email me at the address below for comments/questions. I will try to answer as soon as possible and as many as possible.
