IMPORTANT NOTE:
Seeing that my old HK Autogen is causing FS2004 to crash and quite a few
fellow simmers were interested in my old scenery (combined 8000+ downloads
on AVSIM & SurClaro ), I decided to release a FS2004-compatible
version.
THIS VERSION IS FOR FS2004 *ONLY*! It will NOT work under FS2002!
INTRODUCTION:
This scenery adding a HUGE amount autogen buildings around Southern Kowloon
and the Northern Hong Kong Island. All added buildings use FS2004 default
autogen textures & models. My scenery contains only a single .bgl file -
no textures, no exclude/flatten switches necessary.
Be aware that when I said huge, I meant HUGE. I must have added over
300+ buildings there, so you'll surely get a frame rate hit. But since they
are all autogens, the scenery is still very much flyable. My estimate is
if you can fly the default Manhattan, NY with a good frame rate, you
shouldn't have too much problem flying mine.
My scenery do not reflect the accurate placement of any real-life buildings.
If I found (or if anyone can direct me to) any hi-res aerial pictures
of Hong Kong, I'll most likely modify my scenery to as closely match the
real-life as possible to my ability for the next release.
I made this scenery as compatible to Roger Mole's Kai Tak scenery as
possible. Since Roger is still working to improve his scenery I can not
guarantee my scenery will be compatible with Roger's future release of his
Kai Tak scenery. I also heard Thomas Kwong's working on a new Kai Tak for
FS2004 as well. When that happens for real, I'll also update my scenery
for compatibility as well.
This scenery was designed using FSSC (See Credit).
FUTURE PLANS:
This version is more or less a "compatibility" update to my old scenery
for FS2004. I'm planning to continue developing this scenery so that all
buildings align with the default roads & shorelines, as well as expanding
the buildings into covering the whole Hong Kong S.A.R. region (HK island,
Kowloon, New Territory, and the outer islands).
INSTALLATION:
The usual: copy the /Addon Scenery folder to your default FS2004 folder
and add the following lines to your scenery.cfg:

Replace the XXX with the next number of your scenery order, of course :-)
