Textures only for the FFX 727-200 in Delta's old color
scheme. I have included only the textures required for
the fuselage, tail, and engine nacelles to keep the zip file
small. Also included are alternate wheel textures
that have a bit more detail and less of a bright chrome look
simulating a bit of use. You will need the FFX/SG 727-200 model
available here in the avsim library.
This scheme is a bit cleaner than actual aircraft which have
this scheme still applied. Delta has not kept up the paint due
to these aircraft being retired very soon. Delta's last 727
flight is set for early next month (April 2003). If I painted
the textures realisticly I think some folks wouldn't bother flying
this! Besides, since I fly for Delta, I wanted a fairly good
looking machine for my own use.
To install I recommend making a copy of the blank(white) textures
and creating a new texture folder which you will copy these zipped files
into, overwriting the ones that already exist. Then just create a new
aircraft by adding a new section in the aircraft.cfg and the new texture
folder to the 727-200 aircraft folder in FS.
