DESCRIPTION

This is a repaint of Oleksiy Frolov's outstanding Dash 8 Aircraft in Horizon Air livery.
First let me apologize for the quality of the lines on the nose and aft portion of the fuselage. I spent countless hours trying to smooth them out to no avail. I believe it is a function of how the model was made (skinning) and could not overcome this.
I repainted this aircraft for 2 reasons.
First we needed a North American livery for this excellent aircraft. "The Great City of Kelowna" is an actual paint scheme as seen on www.AIRLINERS.net. Being a Canadian painting an American carrier, I thought this was a good compromise :-)
Second, in our local newspaper a front page article stated that Horizon Air will be starting regular sceduled flights from Seattle to Cranbrook for the up coming 2003/2004 ski season. They will be flying Seattle to Cranbrook Thursday mornings, with return flights Sunday afternoon. There is some great skiing out here so if you can, come enjoy the scenery and hospitality of the East Kootenays.
INSTALLATION
~~~~~~~~~~~~
1). Unzip Hor_DHC8.zip to a temporary folder.
2). Move the texture.horizon folder to you Dash8-Q300_2 folder.
3). Copy the following text into your Dash8-Q300_2 aircraft.cfg file in sequential order in the [fltsim.xx] section.
