The first thing that I want to remark clearly is that this files haven't been made by me.
I have just collected them in a zip file, for simplify the process of reinstalling them with the useful tool Afintaller of Lee Swordy.
If everytime that I need to reinstall FS2k2 for some reason (like a formattimg of the HD or the purchase of a new PC) I would have to find and install every AFCAD file for every airport, the amount of job would be gigantic.!!
With this file containing 1005 AFCAD files and the Afinstaller, the task is automatic and quick.
I don't want any recognition by this, because this is not my work. I only want to help you in your task of improve the fabulous FS2k2 with the many freeware files that it's possible to find in the Internet sites.
I know that I could write here the names of the many authors of the files, but find the 1005 original .zip files, open and reading the readme.txt, copy here the name of the author... what a waste of time!! And do you would read this list?
My greetings to all the authors of the files, and I hope anyone can feel angry by redistribute their work.
INSTALLATION:
It's really easy: just select all the .txt files (Ctrl+A)in the zip file, and drag and drop them over the executable Afinstaller.exe.
Wait and look if there are some troubles with some airports, probably because the diferences in the language versions of FS 2002.
You can too, of course, look for some airports only and install them.
Think that many of the AFCAD files are designed for the Payware versions of the airports (Simflyers, Simwings. etc)
If you aren't happy with the results in any especific airport, you can reinstall the original airport parking and taxiways with the Version 1.3 of AFCAD.
