CONSIDERATIONS
This airplane has two distinguishing basic characteristics and that
can be a reason for controversy between the users. The characteristics
are the following ones:

1 - The thrust reversers have been animated with the / key
2 - The Night Textures have been created by a new technique which was totally developed by PROJECT CORMORAN.

FOUNDATIONS

1 - It was decided to use the key " / " that activates the spoilers
or air brakes, for the slowed down activation of the reversers, to
obtain greater outer realism at the moment of landing with the
airplane. Other models use key " F2 " for the same effect, but this
key only allows to see two states of the reversers (closed and
open). At the moment, and prior to landing, you have to chose an autobreak setting and set the spoilers to arm. This means that on touch-down, the spoilers will activate automatically and reversers will activate. The use of the spoilers during the flight is practically null in real life.

2 - It was decided to change the technique for the application of
night textures because in reality and aircraft does not become blue when the sun is on the horizon. My personal experience indicates that when approaching the sun on the horizon, due to the atmospheric interference, the frequency of wave of the diurnal light loss, means that the surfaces reflect the lowest colors in the chromatic scale. These colors tend to the yellow-orange-red one. If the user has had the opportunity to make a real flight at dawn and dusk, you can see this effect in the passenger cabin of the airliner. The technique
normally used for night textures on FS airplanes is based on the opposite effect, using a hue of blue-violet.

REPAINTINT PROTOCOL

If you want to repaint this model, please ask the author before STARTING THE REPAINT. This consent will have to be included within the installation file. Also please include the original Spanish-language " leame.txt " without no type of modification.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

-. To Carlos Flores-Acosta, ex--pilot of MD-83 of Airmail (Venezuela).
Without his inestimable aid in the dynamics of flight of this one
airplane, us it had been impossible to obtain a realistic flight model (FDE).
