FS98 DYNAMIC AND STATIC SCENERY STUTTGART VERSION 2.0

REQUIRES FS98 AND GERMAN AIRPORTS 1
****************************************************************

INTRODUCTION

This is my second airport enhancement scenery for the airport of
Stuttgart. I receive a request from Rudolf Kruggel who is right now
working for a german company in Thailand . He asked if I could do
also some scenery for the military part of the airport because he
was a chopper pilot there.

Because I'm such a nice guy I started to work on this scenery some
days ago but very fast I had to find out that it is very difficult
to find good military static aircrafts/chopper! I searched a long
time and I think that the statics shown in my scenery are the best
available at the moment.

The military part of the airport is not so realistic because of the
static aircrafts problem.

I had to delete one Pushback truck from my previous version for
Stuttgart as I was running out of memory and I did needed the space
for the military part. This is now the maximum of dynamic scenery
that I can put into this file!

TRIBUTE

You will very soon notice that my scenery is a little bit
Lufthansa (Star Alliance) minded. This is because my father was
a Lufthansa Captain until his retirement 1995. At the end he was
Captain on the Airbus A300-600 and A310.

My father died at the end of June this year and this scenery is
also a tribute to him and his beloved work. I will always keep
him in my heart!

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS SCENERY?

As mentioned before, this is version 2.0 of my Stuttgart scenery for
static and dynamic aircrafts and this time I have also put some life
to the military part of the airport.

This is NO update to my previous version (Str_bg1.zip). This file will
completly replace my old version!

Following you will see what is included in this scenery and if you
already have my first version then the only difference is that 1 Pushback
Truck was deleted (space problems) and a lot of stuff and the military
part was added :

Static:
- LH A320 parked at the Terminal
- SAS MD81, AZ MD83, SR MD83, Fedex B727 all parked on the ramp
- 2 CH46 parked on the miltary ramp, 2 EF2000 and a Tornado parked in
front of the shelters on the military part of the airport.

Dynamic:
- B757 of Condor is landing on runway 07, after landing the aircrafts
is taxing to its parking position on the ramp and stops there
forever.
- A320 of Lufthansa is pushing back from the Terminal and after taxing
to the runway the aircrafts take off behind the DE B757 to disappear
forever.
- A320 of Lufthansa is landing behind the other A320 making its take
off run. The aircrafts is then taxing to a Terminal parking position.
After a short stop the aircrafts is taxing to runway 07 and is taking
off. (endless loop)
- A300 of Lufthansa is pushing back from the Terminal and is taxing to
runway 07. After the landing LH320 the aircraft take off and disappears
forever.
- A321 of Lufthansa is landing behind the departing A300 and is taxing
to a parking postion on the ramp. After a short stop the aircraft is
taxing to runway 07 and is making the take off run. (endless loop)
- Fueltruck is starting from the miltary ramp, drives underneath the
landing aircrafts to the Terminal and disappears. (endless loop)
- Fueltruck is starting behind the other Fueltruck, same route to the
Terminal but after reaching the Terminal the Truck is first stopping
at the static A320 and afterwards at the SK MD81. After that the
Truck drives to the parked DE B757 and stops there forever.
- Lufthansa Pushbacktruck is driving to the static A320 and is parked
in position to pushback the aircrafts. (stops there forever)
- Luftwaffe Transall in UN livery is taxing to runway 07 and is taking
off before the first aircraft is landing. (disappears forever)
- Luftwaffe Starfighter is taxing from its shelter to runway 07 and is
taking off in front of the A300. (disappears forever)
- Luftwaffe Super Puma (Cougar) is landing on the military ramp and after
a short stop the chopper is leaving. (endless loop)
- Hummer Jeep is driving around on the military part and is then stoping
next to the Super Puma to pick-up some passengers. The Hummer is then
driving back. (endless loop)

INSTALLATION

Very simple:

All .bgl files go to the Scenery subdirectories of your German
Airports 1 add-on.

All texture files go to the main texture directory.

If you have installed my previous version for STR (Str_bg1.zip) than
you have to delete st_str2.bgl as this file will be replaced by
st_str3.bgl!!

You also have to delete str10.bgl and str.15.bgl as these files will
be replaced by str10m.bgl and str15m.bgl.

IMPORTANT: I received some feedback that some users had to make a
seperate directory for the dynamic/static scenery with a
lower layer than GA1 otherwise the scenery was not visible!!

TEST EQUIPMENT

Pentium II 300 MMX-PRO, 64 MB RAM, FS98 with patch, Europe1,
German Airports 1.

I believe that Europe1 is not needed for this add-on but as I have it
installed I'm not quite sure!

CREDITS (very important)

It is very important for me to point out that I did NOT created any of
the static aircrafts or dynamic objects used in this scenery. The objects
were designed by PHILLIP COOK, the PROJECT FREEWARE GROUP, Jerry Arzdorf
and some - for me unknown - designers for the B757/A300/Starfighter and
the Cougar. All credits for these fantastic aircrafts go to them. They
did really a great job and it helped me a lot that they offered their
objects to the freeware community!! The Lufthansa Pushbach Truck was
originally painted from Jerry Arzdorf in United Colours but I decided
that it is more realistic in LH colours for a German Airport so that I
repainted it with Flight Shop.

Maybe the biggest credit goes to Rafael Garcia Sanchez for the outstanding
Dynamic Object Designer (DOD) and Konstantin Kukushkin for his superb
Dynkit!!! These tools are absolute .....WOW.....SUPER.....FANTASTIC....!!
Everybody should have them at home.

The Dynamic Patterns were recorded with Adam Szofrans very usefull Flight
Data Recorder.

The Static Scenery files were made with PREFAB.
