The Aircraft

The A320-200 was based upon the concepts of the proven A300 and A310. The aircraft, just as it's predessors was made by the
various Airbus partners, those being BAe (24%), Areospatiale (34%), Deutsche Airbus (35%), CASA (5%) and Belairbus (2%).
Both the A320-100 and -200 have the same dimensions but differ in fuel capacities, MTOW (max take off weight) and the -200
having wing fences. The engine choice remained the same, between CFM and IAE although both manufacturers had upgraded versions
available for use on the -200. The first A320 made it first flight in February 1987 and the first aircraft were delivered to British Airways and
Air France in March 1988. The A320 uses Airbus's unique sidestick controllers, fly by wire control systems and the now common "Glass Cockpit".

The CFM 56-5A1 engines each produce 25,000lbs of thrust. The aircraft can carry up to 150 passengers a distance of 3,000 nautical miles at speeds
upto mach .82.

Legalities! This aircraft is available freely to anyone on the internet but must not be sold for profit or reproduced on any other media.
Please feel free to upload it to any Flight Sim site as long as it is free. It would be much aprreciated if you let me know if you do upload
it just so I can keep tabs on it!! Under NO circumstances may any part of this aircraft be used without the consent of the author.

At this stage I am afraid I will not allow re-paints or re-modelling so please do not ask yet. At some point I will however let a selection be re-painted
and this point will notified on my website.

This aircraft was based upon the work of many free afx's found on the internet. I could not possibly thank everybody
except those whose basic textures I used and the very basics of the aircraft, Kim Simmelink and Nick Botamer. Thanks also to
Chris Barrett at Monarch engineering and Holger Ellerbrock.

Right that's about it, hopefully this has given you a bit of extra information about the A320. If you have any comments on this aircraft
or any other of my aircraft please feel free to either e-mail me or visit my website for updates and advice!
