Introduction
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Covering an area of 649,950 sq km (250,900 sq mi); this Canadian province has over 110,000 lakes. Sounds like the ideal area to fly the FSX Beaver in with but one problem; Microsoft FSX's list of default airports for Manitoba includes no floatplane bases! Searching the internet for FSX Manitoba floatplane bases produces a list as comprehensive as Microsoft's, zero. So here is my contribution to help alleviate this shortcoming, the aptly named Manitoba Floatplane Bases. I haven't totally neglected those who prefer to fly without floats on their aircraft, I have included some airports/airstrips as well as heliports that Microsoft neglected to provide. All listed and unlisted floatplane bases, heliports and airports/airstrips are based on real world facilities based on data obtained from the internet. I hope you enjoy using this package.
Regards, Mike Mann
