For FS2000 - September 2000

By David Maldonado (david_maldonado014@yahoo.com)

This scenary was created with Airport v2.60 and Scenery Builder v2.0 using data of
CoastLine Extractor Macros created with Visual Object Designer 3.0 and Mountain v2.0f
It requires textures Airport and VODTEX30

Los Roques archipelago National Park are a group of more than 50 islands located in the Venezuelan Caribbean Sea, approximately to 160 Km. to the north of the Simón Bolivar Intl Airport of Maiquetía (SVMI).

The Gran Roque is the biggest island of the group where is a landing runway for light airplanes of 1000x26 mt (3281x85 ft), heading 70° and a sign VOR of frequency 113.10 (LRS)

The islands that conform the archipelago, are located among the following Latitudes

How installing it:
-----------------
The file SVLRFS2K.zip contains the following files:

File_id.diz -> Brief description of the scenario
Readme.txt -> This file
Leeme.txt -> This file in Spanish
SVLRFS2K.gif -> Image of the Scenario
Scenery.zip -> File of Scenario of Los Roques
Texture.zip -> Contains the necessary textures of the scenario
Tex_Avi.zip -> Contains the texture of the static airplanes

1.-Decompress the file SVLRFS2K.zip inside some temporary directory.

2.-Create a new sub-directory where you want, called "LosRoques" and inside
of it create two sub-directory more called SCENERY and TEXTURE.

ejem. C:\LosRoques
\SCENERY
\TEXTURE

3.-Decompress the contained files in scenery.zip (SVLRFS2K.bgl)
inside the subdirectorio SCENERY that you have created newly.

4.-Decompress the contained files in texture.zip (* .r8, * .bmp, * .oav) in the sub-directory
TEXTURE that you have created newly.

5.-Decompress the contained files in text_avi.zip (*. *af) in the main sub-directory
TEXTURE of FS2000

6.-Start Flight Simulator 2000, World go to the menu / Scenery Library.. and there press
"Add Area". In the box of I dialogue Select Scenery Directory it looks for in their hard disk the directory
of " LosRoques " that you have created. When it gets it the box of Scenery Area Title it will be activated",
place the name of the area there (ejem. Los Roques) and then " OK " press. it Presses the check mark."

7.-For to see the scenario correctly, next you should modify the file SCENERY.CFG, located in the main directory
where FS is installed using an editor of texts and add a line with the command " Flatten " in the Area where
the scenario was installed

[Area.xxx]
Title=LosRoques
Local =.. \LosRoques\Scenery
Active=TRUE
Layer=xx
Add this line--> Flatten.0=0000,N12 00,W67 00,N11 45,W67 00,N11 45,W66 30,N12 00,W66 30

8.-Restart the FS and position you in the runway 07 of the scenario following the route:
From the main menu of the FS World / Go to Airport... / Scenery from FS95 and before / Los Roques / RWY07

and that is all!!.
