FS2004 De Havilland DH.91 Albatross

By Jens B. Kristensen 2010

A beautiful, 4-engined British airliner of 1938. Only
seven were built for Imperial Airways and BOAC before
de Havilland had to concentrate on military aircraft,
but the experience gained with the Albatross was used
to design the famous DH.98 Mosquito fighter-bomber of WW2.

For FS2004 only, FSX users should download DH91_V3X.zip instead.

For more details and flying instructions, please see the
pdf document installed in the \Manual folder.

----

Version 3.0, with more accurate panel, more detail in the virtual
cockpit, and other improvements.

----

*To install for Flight Simulator 2004 - A Century of Flight:

Run the included setup_fs2004 program.

----

The gauges are to a large extent standard gauges of Flight
Simulator, some of them modified by me.
The RPM and fuel gauges are by me, but with much inspiration
from gauges by Microsoft

Magneto switches, starter buttons, and some engine gauges
are besed on public domain gauges by Mike (MoparMike) Wagner,
converted to XML by myself.

The OBS selector gauge is by Hans-Joerg Naegele, used with permission.

The ADF and NAV/DME indicators are from the KeDi gauge set by Hauke Keitel.

----

Sounds: The sound files are from the FS2004 De Havilland Comet, modified
to be less noisy. I have had to include them here, because FSX doesn't
include the DH88 Comet.

----

This plane was originally made with FSDS 2.24, this version with
FSDS 3.5.1. Textures with Paint Shop Pro and DxtBmp.

It is freeware and must stay that way.

I hope you like flying the DH91!
