FSX SAAB-90 Scancia

Version 1.0 October 2009. This is for FSX; FS2004 users
should download Scda10.zip instead.

By Jens B. Kristensen.

The SAAB Scandia was a twin-engined airliner intended as a
'DC-3 replacement'. It first flew in 1947, and served with SAS
until 1957. The only other user was VASP in Brazil.

For more details and flying instructions, please see the
pdf document installed in the JBK SAAB Scandia\Documentation folder.

----

*To install for Flight Simulator X:

Just run the included setup program.

----

Sounds:

Based on a DC-6 soundset by Mike Hambly, modified for two engines and
converted to FS2004 format, using FS Sound Studio, by myself.

----

Gauges:

The gauges are to some extent based on default gauges of Flight
Simulator FSX or FS2004, most of them modified by me.
Other gauges are by myself.

The ILS indicator is based on xml code by
Saviero Maurri (Vickers Varsity panel), bitmaps by me.

A number of gauges (mostly switches) are, with permission from
Tom Gibson, www.calclassic.com, based on work by Tom himself,
Kevin Trinkle, Ernie Kennedy and Ken 'Mitch' Mitchell.

----

This plane was made with FSDS 3.5.1, the textures with Paint Shop Pro and DxtBmp.

It is freeware and must stay that way.

I hope you like flying the SAAB Scandia!
