EGFH Swansea UK.
---------------------
Welcome to EGFH Swansea, a popular GA destination 5 miles WSW of Swansea,
South Wales. There's a choice of three runways, two at over a 1000m metres
and for you heavy iron fans, 04/22 is nearly 1500 metres.If you have difficulty
finding it in real weather, there's a DME on 109.2 right on the airfield.
If it's that bad however, be very careful as there's a lot of high ground to
the east and north - if the ceiling's really low perhaps an approach from over the water may be preferable.
When you do get there you'll find a friendly reception at the authentic
control tower, (check it out - have you ever seen one so good?),a great spot overlooking 04/22 for lunch. Watch out for gliders- orbit south of the field if
in doubt. It makes a great destination when touring the west of Britain. The
VOR/DME SWZ on 109.20 mhz and the NDB SWN on 320.5 mhz are active.

Installation
------------
Unzip the Swansea file to a spare folder,there you will find a folder titled Swansea
plus the readme files (this one).In the Swansea folder are the scenery and texture folders, so all that you need to do is place the Swansea folder into the main Scenery folder of FS2k. Then when in FS go to the scenery library and add new scenery dialog
box, open scenery, locate Swansea, open, add area title (Swansea) highlight the
scenery folder and click on OK. Now at the top of the priority list should be your new scenery I would suggest that you assign it to a higher priority than Europe. You will also
need to go to your scenery config file in the root directory of FS and add the following
Flatten switch to the Swansea config file.(Just copy and paste the Flatten line)

[Area.xxx]
Title=Swansea
Local=SCENERY\UK\Swansea\Scenery
Active=TRUE
Layer=xxx
Flatten.0=299,N51 36.72 ,W004 4.04 ,N51 36.72 ,W004 3.57 ,N51 35.92 ,W004 3.70 ,N51 35.98 ,W004 4.91

Also we have included a static FST track for the privately owned Vampire which resides at the airport. The Vampire can be downloaded from SurClaro.

You will also need the Airport 2 xx textures and the VOD30 textures added to your texture folder, Although I am sure most people will already have them.

This is freeware and as such should not be changed in any way without my permission
and should not used for any commercial purpose. I would be pleased to recieve any
