FSX Boeing 307 Stratoliner

By Jens B. Kristensen 2008.

The Boeing 307 was the first pressurized airliner. Because of the war, only 10 were built, initially for Pan American and TWA (plus a personal plane for Howard Hughes). Five versions included here, in PanAm and TWA colours as well as Aigle Azur and Airnautic.

For more details, see the pdf document located in the \documentation folder. During installation, you have the option of viewing (and printing) it.

----

Version 1.1, for FSX only. FS2004 users should download B307_V10.zip instead.

If you have installed version 1.0 in FSX, you must first uninstall it. Open Windows Control Panel and select "Add/remove programs". If you have version 1.0 installed in FS2004, you can keep it. It will not be deleted or overwritten by this version.

----

*To install for Flight Simulator X:

Run the included setup program.

If you have FSX Gold, FSX Service Pack 2, or the Acceleration expansion pack, remember to enable "FSX SP2 support" when you get to the "Custom setup" dialog.

If you install SP2 later, locate the JBK Boeing 307 FSX folder using Windows Explorer. Inside, you will find a folder called FSX_SP2. Copy the prop_blurred.bmp file to the texture.shared folder, replacing the original.

The model should work with all versions of FSX.

Many gauges in the panel are from the default FS Douglas DC-3,
some of them slightly modified by Jens B. Kristensen.
The ILS gauge contains XML code by Saviero Maurri.
The OBS selector is by Hans-Joerg Naegele.

A number of gauges (mostly switches) are, with permission from
Tom Gibson, www.calclassic.com, based on work by Tom himself,
Kevin Trinkle, Ernie Kennedy and Ken 'Mitch' Mitchell. I have used
complete gauges from them (cowl flap switches), or used the
bitmaps from their c-style gauges and made xml-versions of them.
In some cases I have modified the bitmaps. Many thanks to Tom & Co.

----

This plane was made with FSDS 3.5.1. It is freeware and must stay that way.

Good luck!
