============= Additional Gimmicks =============
Just find out ... ;-)

============= Remarks: =============
* This scenery should mostly be compatible to the *new* EDDK scenery of the "German Airports" series (published spring 2007).
* The scenery is made especially for online flying, that means, that it should be very "frame rate friendly".
* The "starting positions" on the runway have been erased, so you can't start your flight directly on the runway. If you choose this starting position, you will find your plane at the helicopter pad, so don't do it!
* These runway starting positions have been erased, because
a) it is not very realistic to start a flight at the runway - use the parking positions and gates!
b) it is the nightmare of every virtual air traffic controller, that he has properly positioned a landing aircraft on the glide slope and shortly before it touches the ground, a plane pops up at the end of the runway!
* The ActiGate Module is necessary for the APIS, the Aircraft Parking Information System. So don't be disappointed, when the _gates_ don't move - they are *not* supposed to do so ... ;-)

============= Thanks to: =============
* Arno Gerretsen for his ActiGate module
* Heiko Futterer for his APIS modification
* Dirk Kunze and the guys from the SAG-Forum for the bunch of photos
* All the people at scenerydesign.org for their help - once again especially Arno!
* My wife for letting me create this scenery in my spare time ... ;-)

============= Installation: =============
* Decompress the archive into a temporary folder and be sure to preserve the folder structure.

* You should see three folders: "Modules", "Effects" and "Addon Scenery".

* In the "Modules" folder you will find some files from the ActiGate module.
!!!!!!!!!READ the PDF!!!!!
Afterwards copy the files to the "modules" folder of your FS2004 installation, e.g. "c:\Games\Flight Simulator 9\Modules". If you have already a ActiGate.dll in that folder, please do not overwrite it without checking, which one is the newest version. The version in this package is from January 2006. At the time I write this readme, it is the newest version (10.06.2007).
If you have any problems with the ActiGate.dll, contact Arno Gerretsen, the email address is in the ActiGate Readme.
You must have a working installation of FSUIPC for ActiGate (and with it the APIS - Aircraft Parking Information System) to work!

* In the "Effects" folder you can see several files and another folder "texture".
Copy these files and the "texture" folder into the "Effects"-Folder of your Flight Simulator, e.g. "c:\Games\Flight Simulator 9\Effects".

* Inside the "Addon Scenery" folder, you can find the folder "GA_EDDK" with two subfolders.
Copy the "GA_EDDK" folder with its subfolders into the "Addon Scenery" folder of your Flight Simulator, e.g. "c:\Games\Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery".

* Start Microsoft Flight Simulator 9.

* Click on "Settings". After that on "Scenery Library" and "Add Area".

* In the following dialog double click on "Addon Scenery" and then select "GA_EDDK".

* Click "Ok" (to add the EDDK scenery to your library).

* Deactivate any other EDDK scenery!

* You have to close and restart MS Flight Simulator 9 to complete the installation.

Enjoy flying from and to an outstanding and nice international airport in west germany!
