INTRODUCTION

PLEASE TURN ON WORDWRAP TO VIEW README CORRECTLY

Covers QANTAS and QANTASLINK Flight Schedules. Based on the current QANTAS International and Domestic flight timetable. It covers most routes and times but is edited to allow airport traffic to flow without congestion as can be the common problem usin 'real flightplans' within the flightsim world.

Australian Airlines and Jetstar Airlines are excluded.

INSTALLATION:

- Unzip into a temporary directory.
- Note the descriptions of aircraft within the Aircraft_Qantas.txt file. The description of each aicraft must match the 'title' of the corresponding aircraft within your Aircraft.Cfg file for that aircraft to fly on your flightsim.

example:

Aircraft_Qantas.txt file

AC#734,430,"Boeing 737-400 QANTAS"

Boeing 737-400 Aircraft.Cfg file

[fltsim.#]
title=Boeing 737-400 QANTAS
sim=Boeing737-400
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=Qantas
kb_checklists=Boeing737-400_check
kb_reference=Boeing737-400_ref
atc_id=VH-JIM
atc_airline=QANTAS
atc_flight_number=qf177
atc_heavy=1
atc_parking_types=GATE,RAMP
atc_parking_codes=QFA
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type=737-400
ui_variation=QANTAS
visual_damage=1

- Install the three flightplans into FS9 using Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools
Airports_Qantas.txt
Aircraft_Qantas.txt
Flightplans_Qantas.txt

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE

You are advised to add the atc parking codes in the Aircraft.cfg file as detailed above. When this is combined with the respective airport AFCAD file formatted with the relative airline codes, your AI aircraft will head to the appropriate gate etc. In the example above, the tower will send the aicraft to a GATE or RAMP with the parking code of QFA.
