GaugeExplorer Version 1.0.8 RC 1
================================

The GaugeExplorer was developed to make an inventory of all gauges within the
flight simulator environment.

So as a first step, it scans your flight-simulator directory structure for gauge and
panel files. Then you can inspect several points. You can also remove or backup
unused gauges.

Installation:
Just start Setup.exe. GaugeExplorer tries to find your flight simulator folder.
If it is not found, you have to defined it in the options.

Details:
1. The gauges folder /gauges is scanned for all gauges.
GaugeExplorer knows 3 different kind of gauges:
- Gauge files (*.gau), which are in fact DLL's
- Gauge folders, which contains XML gauge descriptions
- Gauge cabinet files (*.cab), which contains also XML gauge descriptions in a
compressed file
2. All panel files (panel.cfg) are scanned
3. Every folder which contains a panel file is also scanned for gauges
(It's also possible to leave the gauges in the panel folder!)
4. With the info from panel file, we can find out what gauges are used
After checking all relations, the result is displayed in the several Tabs of the
GaugeExplorer

Sequence for finding a gauge file
1. panel file folder
2. gauges folder

Sequence for finding a gauge file within a folder
- If its a single gauge file entry, only a single file gauge is searched.
- If its a multiple gauge file then the precedence is as follows:
1. gauge file (*.gau)
2. Folder
3. Cabinet file
