Flight Simulator A.I. traffic separation. With this tool you will be able to separate the traffic inbound to an airport defining a set of paremeters like minimun separation, desired separation, reduced separation zone, reducing the annoying go arounds that the AI engine of FS2004 can cause. It will be avaiable at Flightsimmer's, ProjectAI, AVSIM and Flightsim.

How it work's:
The program divides on two parts, the explorer grid where the user can view the airborne or ground traffic surrounding him, and the conflict grid where conflicts are shown. Once all the information of the Ai traffic from FS has been retrieved, the program filters the flight with the user-selected airport within the combo box. It then calculates which planes are conflicting with each other and if the disable check box is not checked the program will check the following condition. Firstly, the plane must be within 100 nm from user plane and more than the nautical miles specified in the “No move zone” option. Secondly, the program then selects the conflict and moves the chasing plane backwards until the desired separation is achieved. Due to limitations on knowledge of the AI traffic logic of MSFS, the planes are slewed backwards for a period of time calculated upon the speed of the SLEW and the distance to be moved. Up to three conflicts con be solved at anytime so the program will solve the first three conflicts before moving on the next.
