These files are for the LET L-410 FG Twin Turbo-Prop Panel for FS2004. *** This Is Freeware. Not To Be Sold. ***
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The panel.cfg is for my new 2D panel; but read on to see how you can add a VC section.

You must have the original file PWDTL410.zip from SurClaro dated 24-07-2004 by the Pannon Wings Design Team, as their main.bmp and gauges are needed, but not supplied with this zip. Also available from :- SimAir2000.com and .com (UK). SurClaro.com have it as PWDT_L410FG.ZIP.

INSTALLATION
1) Instal the LET L-410 Twin Turbo aircraft.
2) Open the panel folder and rename the existing panel.cfg to ORIGpanel.cfg.

Now unzip my file to a temp folder and copy the 4 gauges, 1 panel.cfg, and 1 bmp file to the LET aircraft panel folder. NOTE: In fs2004 all of the gauges can stay in the panel folder. They do not have to be in the main gauge folder.

Then open the LET aircraft.cfg file and scroll down to the AUTOPILOT section, and make the following changes.

[autopilot]
//autopilot_available=0 } original
//flight_director_available=0 } original
autopilot_available=1 // new
flight_director_available=1 // new
Now save file and exit.

TO ADD THE VC PANEL
===================
Find the VC file you would like to use and copy and paste the entire VC section to my new panel.cfg file. Open my panel.cfg file and scroll to the end of window #3. Here you are shown where to paste the VC section. Save the file and exit.

That's it! You are done. Shift/1 is the FS9 GPS. Shift/2 is the radio stack. Shift/3 is the Overhead folder which contains all the panel switches. The digital compass is on the aircraft centreline; the park brake changes to green when it is off. I have used the Concorde ignition and generator switches. If you do not have the Concorde gauge it is available at Simviation.com, and probably at Flightsim and Avsim as well.

The reason I built this new panel.cfg. I tried the LET and found it flew well, but I was unable to read the asi gauge, and the altimeter was in meters. A lot of the gauges had no lighting, and trying to find the few working switches on the large overhead was a pain. PWD advise that they have new gauges coming, but I wanted to fly it NOW. I have removed duplicate gauges, enlarged the engine gauges and moved them so that I could fit the throttle console on the main panel. This panel may not be an exact replica of a real Let panel, but Mark Beaumont insists that there are many versions of the LET panel available in real life. See his Letpanel.zip file dated 28 June 2003.

The LET L-410 is the only tricycle aircraft I have seen where the main gear retracts and the nose wheel is fixed. It also has a seat inside the glass nose. In VC mode, use the view keys to place yourself here for some good vfr and landing views.

I would like to thank the PWD Team for their effort in building this great little twin-turbo, it has an exceptional airfile and is very stable. Also the freeware gauge designers and Chuck Dome for his dukecmp gauge. My panel.cfg and the 4ed-Fuel.bmp is copyright to me and my cat, but may be used in other "Freeware" panels as long as my work is credited to me.

To see my Boeing 737 three panel packs, search at Flightsim for Eric Davis. They are for fs2000, fs2002 and fs2004.

If you do not like my LET panel.cfg - "Delete It", and fly the original.

If you do like it then ENJOY it, and don't forget to sit in the nose seat.
