You may consider George Bush to be a worthy Barbecue Buddy, or you may consider him (as in the children's rhyme) a Liar with his Pants On Fire. Whichever is the case, you can place George Bush in your Washington D.C. and Texas scenery. No flight is required. You can simply view the scenes at the Whitehouse, and Capitol Building, like a tour of Washington D.C. sights, and then exit. Or you can fly into Crawford Texas to see George. In the full versions he is either waving as he cooks a barbecue, or has his pants on fire (as a cowboy in the Texas location). Both full versions include dynamic flame effect, and night textures. Various cars have been created by Flight Sim aircraft designers, and it is often fun to use one to drive around and see the sights of a city. So, seeing the sights in Washington DC can now include Pants On Fire, or Barbecue Buddy. (Pants On Fire includes one additional location - the default runway at Washington D.C.'s Ronald Reagan Airport, waving to departing flights.) The sceneries included with this evaluation package place waving George at the Whitehouse, and in Crawford Texas.

Installation instructions are in the Installation.txt file.

About the sceneries:

High Profile opinion polls in the winter of 2004, show that the majority of Americans believe President George Bush either stretched the truth, or just plain lied about reasons to invade Iraq in the year 2003. (The Washington Post, and Agence France Press February, 2004). See web page:
http://www.globalexchange.org, and then open the search function called "find it" and search for: polls Bush lied.

Bush's approval rating by the American public has dropped considerably since then; however, some polls still indicate that many think he is a likable person. One poll, in fact, by Quinnipiac University in Hamden Connecticut, showed that, among the current presidential candidates, most would prefer to have George Bush attend a backyard barbecue.

These sceneries are an educational and good natured, or humorous demonstration of the ways in which many now see Bush. They are also educational in demonstrating the highly adabtable qualities of Flight Simulator effects.

It is recommended to have all of your Flight Sim scenery settings at normal-to-high, or to the maximum settings in order to see all of the default Washinton D.C. scenery objects, such as the Whitehouse, and Capitol building. If these settings are on 'low' the buildings may not be visible. Also, your resolution setting may affect the exact size of the Capitol building reflection pool were George stands.

This scenery was tested successfully for FS02 and FS04 with an AMD Duron 700Mhz 128MB RAM with a Radeon 7000 card, and an AMD 1800+, 1.5Ghz 512 RAM, with an Nvidia GMX 420 card. No gaurauntees are made, and compatibilities with other Washington DC and Crawford, Texas add-on sceneries are not known. I do not accept responsibility for any damage or conflict you think the scenery may cause.
