ABOUT THE AIRPORT:

Rio Vista boasts two runways, the longest being 4200 feet. It's located about 2 miles from the Sacramento River. The facillity recently completed a 6 million dollar improvement project. The airport caters to GA aviation only. About 50% of the traffic is transient GA traffic and the other 50% is local GA traffic.

ABOUT THE SCENERY:

Rio Vista is another installment of my GA airport series. Done with FSDS2, you must have ASDv2.1, Nova, Nova Gold and NovaSim textures. Traffic tools and AFCAD are a must for the scenery to work. If you have FS2002, then you will have to create your own parking modifications with AFCAD1. Also you would need to modify the AI traffic with Traffic tools v1.x instead of V2.x I plan to do one more California GA airport before moving on to another state. So, enjoy this one and happy landings.

INSTALLATION:

AFTER UNZIPPING THE FILE o88_V1.ZIP TO A TEMPORARY FOLDER, HOPEFULLY, YOU ARE READING THIS README FILE.

If you don't have them already, download Lee Swordy's Traffic Tools v2x and AFCAD2. Follow the instructions from the files and install them onto your system. While you're at it, download the texture files and put them into the main FS texture folder.

Using the folders switch, unzip the file o88_scen.zip to the drive where you have your FS. Using your file manager (Windows Explorer) check to make sure that all the files are in their proper folder.

C:\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files should have CA - Rio Vista FLT and WX files
Drive:\FS2004\Addon Scenery\scenery should have AF2_O88.bgl
Drive:\FS2004\Scenery\World\scenery should have TrafficRioVista.bgl
Drive:\fs2k4_scenery\O88\scenery should have the *.bgl scenery files
Drive:\FS2004\Texture should have the citgo.r8 texture
If you have Lago's FSE 2004, then check the following:
Drive:\FS2004\Lago\FSE\Data\should have RioVista.SE2

You should be ready to fly. Happy landings!
